ACT Medical hosts qLegal Externship
ACT Medical has been selected as a host for this year’s qLegal Externship programme.
We are pleased to welcome Pulkita Sharma to the team and are excited to see what we are able to achieve together throughout the externship.
The Programme
As part of the 6 month externship programme, students spend one day a week working within a start-up.
This allows the students to gain commercial awareness and develop their legal and business skills. Whilst ACT Medical receives advice on a range of complex legal issues including intellectual property matters and commercial agreements.
The students are supervised by practising lawyers from leading firms who volunteer their time.
About Pulkita
Pulkita will be joining us for 6 months alongside her studies at Queen Mary University of London where she is studying LLM in Intellectual Property Law.
She has previous experience working in a variety of law firms in India where she has drafted agreements, legal notices, etc. and contributed by researching various topics. She also helped clients expand their businesses abroad by assisting in filing the Madrid Protocol application.
During her externship she will be reviewing our corporate governance and assisting with our IP strategy.
“I am very excited to work with ACT Medical as an extern and I am really looking forward to learning and growing with them over the next 6 months.”
