At ACT Medical we see a world where bleeding to death from knife wounds is a thing of the past.

The story behind this vision has been described in media interviews, during the judging of the International Dyson Award, and as part of the Fellowships our founder has been offered.

Two of Joseph’s friends were stabbed on the streets of London. They were lucky to survive, but thousands of others each year are not.

ACT Medical will stop victims of violent crime from bleeding to death.  

An average knife attack leaves the victim with seven stab wounds. Growth in knife crime is leaving more people seriously physically and mentally injured than ever. The cost in wasted lives is huge.

For a number of reasons, previous solutions have been found wanting. The burden on over-stretched healthcare providers and emergency services continues to be sizable and traumatic. We want to do something about it.

Our Mission

We want to stop fatalities from violence-induced uncontrolled haemorrhage. 

 ACT Medical will save lives by:

• manufacturing emergency medical devices for first responders to use in the crucial first minutes of intervention;

• collaborating with and promoting violence prevention institutions and organisations;
