  • Robert A. Sikorski, MD - Board Chair

    Dr. Sikorski is currently a member of the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He holds the position of Medical Director of Trauma Anesthesiology at the same institution. He came to The Johns Hopkins Hospital by way of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland Medical Center where he was the Director of the operating rooms and Chair of the OR Committee. He is sub-specialty trained in Cardiac Anesthesiology and was the chief of a private practice Cardiac Anesthesiology group at a hospital in New Jersey which was a regional referral center for Cardio-Thoracic Trauma. He is a pre-hospital instructor with the Maryland State Police Aviation Command as well as the 193rd Special Operations Squadron Medical Support of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He brings a multi-decade experience in trauma to ACT Medical.

    Dr. Remick is a retired Army trauma and critical care surgeon with military deployment experience as a flight surgeon, as a trauma surgeon with both austere trauma teams and combat hospitals, and as chief medical officer and theater trauma director.  He now leads the development of a civilian trauma center in Maryland.  His professional passion is providing optimal trauma care for the injured in austere and hostile environments.  He brings both military and civilian clinical trauma care expertise to guide and advance the work at ACT Medical.

  • Andrew Naumann

    Mr. Naumann brings over 20 years of experience in military and civilian prehospital medicine. He is currently a senior advisor for the US Department of the Air Force and the lead special operations flight paramedic in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. His experience includes overseeing a state-wide prehospital care system in the US, leading a civilian hospital based medevac program, and managing several global health security and foreign policy programs. Drew is a Certified Flight Paramedic, Certified Wilderness Paramedic, Special Operations Advanced Tactical Paramedic, and Fellow of the Academy of Operational Medicine. He brings a wealth of out-of-hospital medicine experience to ACT.
