Generation Next is an organisation committed to supporting young professionals in the East Midlands by providing them with valuable experiences and opportunities to aid their development.
Each year, they organise the 'Helping you thrive East Midlands Chamber Awards,' a highly anticipated event that shines a spotlight on young talent from across the East Midlands business community. With 11 award categories designed to celebrate individuals at all stages of their career journey, from apprentices to executives, rising stars to business owners, it's a platform that recognises and appreciates diversity in professional accomplishments.
A Night to Remember
Joseph and Emma's dedication to their work and their impressive contributions to ACT Medical led them to be shortlisted for a combined total of four awards. There was anticipation leading up to the awards night, as the team nervously awaited the announcement of the winners.
The event itself was held at the vibrant Bustler Market in Derby, creating the perfect backdrop for a night of celebration. Set within a lively beer garden, attendees were treated to an array of delicious street food, craft beer, cocktails, and live music. The atmosphere was electric, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.
When the moment of truth arrived, we were thrilled to hear we had clinched not one, but two prestigious awards. The first, the Innovation and Technology Award, was a testament to our company's commitment to developing groundbreaking ideas and innovative technology that have the potential to make a significant impact on society. This award reaffirmed our dedication to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the healthcare industry.
The second award, Entrepreneur of the Year, recognised Joseph Bentley as a dynamic, creative, and visionary young business leader.
