ACT Medical welcomes new Head of Product
ACT Medical recently expanded and welcomed the arrival of Emma Priestley as our new Head of Product.
Her employment will enable the business to take crucial steps forward in the product development process of our device.
About Emma
Emma recently graduated from the University of Bath with a first-class Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
She has previous experience working as a mechanical engineer at multiple technology consultancies and has lead projects involving the design and development of medical devices.
During University Emma was Vice Chair of the national WES University Groups Board, as well as Outreach Manager of Bath’s Women in Engineering society.
She is passionate about increasing diversity within engineering and hopes that her role as Head of Product will inspire the next generation of engineers.

Her role in the Company
Emma is responsible for the strategy and execution of all product related activities within ACT Medical.
She oversees every element of the product from design to launch and beyond, whilst ensuring it delivers value to both customers and business.
