ACT Medical Welcomes International Intern
We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our new international intern, Lynnsey Hoos, who will be joining us for the next three months and we can’t wait to see the fresh ideas and diverse perspectives she brings.
In Lynnsey’s Own Words
I am so excited to be a part of the ACT Medical team for the next 10 weeks! I’m a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in nursing with a minor in entrepreneurship. Over the past two years as a volunteer EMT, I’ve gained invaluable hands-on experience with emergency medical patient care. I can’t wait to help ACT Medical by offering insights from a product user’s perspective and leveraging my background to the support the team in any way I can. I am thrilled to be immersed in this dynamic start-up environment and explore the world of MedTech.
A Global Perspective
As Lynnsey learns about entrepreneurship through her courses she will apply these concepts by being emersed in start-up environment with ACT Medical. We are excited to see how her fresh ideas will contribute to our projects and enhance our team's creativity.
A Journey of Learning and Growth
Internships are not just about gaining work experience; they are a journey of personal and professional development. We hope that Lynnsey will not only gain valuable skills during her time with us but will also share her knowledge and experiences with our team, enriching our workplace culture.
What’s Next?
Over the coming weeks, Lynnsey will be involved in multiple projects to help ACT Medical prepare for pre-clinical testing and launching the product in the United States. She will be collecting customer insights and conducting industry analysis. This work will be essential for the future rollout of our product in the US. We look forward to sharing updates of her journey and the contributions she will make.
Welcome aboard, Lynnsey! Here’s to a successful internship filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable experiences!
